Founded in 2019 by CEO Ben Wilde and CTO Dan Hook, Loud and Clear Technologies emerged from a need to improve emergency medical training with simple, spoken instructions.

Before partnering with us, Loud and Clear Technologies had taken significant steps by outsourcing the production and design of their wearable device, ICOE (In Case Of Emergency), which offers clear and soothing instructions to help people survive in cold water. Despite this progress, they were struggling with software development and didn't have a working prototype.

After finalising the design and functions needed, we collaborated closely with their hardware team to quickly build a working prototype using readily available components. This was crucial for ensuring the software was complete before receiving the factory-made prototypes.

It soon became apparent there was a demand for a similar device that could be versatile across different settings and industries. That's when AVA, the Audible Voice Assistant, came into play. AVA can deliver instant spoken guidance for a wide range of scenarios, from workplace checklists to emergency procedures.

Having already proved ourselves capable of working on both hardware and software we supported Loud and Clear through the whole product development process, which has seen us develop firmware, build software tools for hardware diagnosis, support EMC testing, and help obtain CE certification.

We also built the cloud-based Hub that allows users to easily customise, monitor and update instructions, remotely gather data and assess checklist completion.

In just 18 months, Loud and Clear Technologies has launched a digital platform and introduced two innovative products. They've also successfully completed a trial with South West Trains, marking a significant achievement for the company.
